Hey guys, it's Wallpaper Wednesday again and I'm bringing back something special from the archives. It's crazy how fast the weeks go by. Every week the time between Wallpaper Wednesdays seems like it's getting faster. I've had a great time with this offer and I'm so glad I started when I did. It's definitely given me some experience in landscape photography and I can tell my skills in that area have made drastic improvements. I hope those improvements in quality are recognizable to all of you who follow Wallpaper Wednesday. I love all aspects of photography, but landscape photography brings me a great sense of peace when I'm taking those photos. It's a very calming experience compared to the rest of what I do in this industry. Hopefully one day the experience I've gained in this genre will pay dividends. It would be a dream to travel the world taking photos of God's creation for a living. Who knows what He has planned for me though... I'm excited to see though. In the meantime, I'm bringing back my favorite photo. This shot is the San Diego skyline just after dusk during the blue hour. It's my favorite photo ever. There are two reasons I'm bringing this photo back. The first is simply because I love it so much I want to share it with everyone in Black and White. Technically it's not the same image as the first because it's a little closer shot of the city. But, secondly I'm bringing it back because of a recent purchase/realization I've made. I've finally caught up with the world and bought an iPhone. The verdict is... I absolutely love it, I only held off because they are so expensive. But, with this new purchase came a realization that I was giving away Wallpaper Wednesdays that were not cropped properly for iPads and iPhones. So, what better way to make right on that problem than to offer my favorite photo with the new proper cropping changes. Anyways, I'm sure that's enough rambling for now, if you are new to Wallpaper Wednesday welcome. If you have been following for a while, I apologize for the cropping mistakes in the past, it will never happen again. So, with all that said, back by popular demand... I always wanted to say that (no one actually demanded anything), the San Diego Skyline. To download the full file click here: www.facebook.com/slp2011 Enjoy!

A couple weeks ago I didn't have a photo I wanted to use for Wallpaper Wednesday. So, in celebration of the new season (Fall) I decided to design one from scratch instead. I really liked the end result... and to this day it's still my personal computer's desktop. Well, that is until I created my latest design. Yes I know, not having a photo for Wallpaper Wednesday is really lame of me, but everyone will just have to forgive me and get over it. I really like how this weeks design turned out. I especially like the color scheme. My inspiration actually came from a background I saw on Groovesharks website recently. By the way, if you are still using Pandora, and haven't yet figured out the Grooveshark is way better, I'd encourage you to check it out. Anyways, you're welcome Grooveshark for that little plug, now that I'm done jabbering... here is this weeks Wallpaper Wednesday Design. A couple weeks ago Still Light Photo photographed Tom and Brooks wedding. Tom and Brook are one of the first couples to have taken advantage of my free engagement shoot offer. I'm so glad they did because they were, and continue to be a great couple to work with. Tom and Brook had their wedding at the River Ranch Lodge in Lake Tahoe. It was my first time shooting there and I hope to shoot there again in the future. It's a very beautiful location. The river literally runs right off the back steps of the lodge. Tom and Brook did a great job planning their wedding and I am so grateful that I got to be a part of their big day. I wish them the best as they take this huge first step on an exciting new adventure. Here are some photos from that first big step. Enjoy!
